My modded SKS,Dont throw up rock at me !! *Video added*

The tapco magazine looks perfect on that rifle. Can the bayonet still be used? Should try putting that back on and seeing how it looks(probably weird but I'm curious)

I did tried it when i was building it,it a no go it's just dont fit with the rest of the rifle.

I guess I'm the solitary and evidently unpopular holder of the belief that it looks awful.

Sorry guys, opinions are still free in this country and I don't like it at all.

Glad the OP likes his rifle though, that's all that's really important.

It's ok Claven, not everyone can love it i do understand that and respect your opinion.

How much does it weigh compared to before?

Ill say almost the same as it's stock configuration, maybe a little more heavier.

Outstanding work sir!

That gets my vote for SKS of the year. I wish you could simply buy off the shelf components to achieve the same thing. Of course everyone would have one then though.

OK - its impressive !

Would you be willing to pass along info on how it was made ? I would love to try this myself - I can do the wood foregrip but am just starting out with a lathe so I would get in over my head fast.

BTW If cash is what it will take for your time for the plans _ Name your price !

My different mod would have a wood stock for the back end and perhaps leaving the gun with iron sights.

i love it! infact, i did almost the same to mine a few months ago just using the tapco stock as a platform. i realy like your custom aluminum work!!! i should have done that! i might also have to darken up my wood a bunch. im still working on a proper looking mag.
