Love the Mod Soldner! I'm definitely keeping this in mind for later when I finally get an SKS of my own. Obviously this isn't the first one to pop up here on CGN but each one has it's own unique features making them a one of a kind beauty. Well done.

Nice. Probably one of the best "Avtomat Simonov 47s" I have seen. You probably should have used either a AK 74 or a Norinco folder instead though. The VZ 58 stock somehow doesn't fit.

Great looking mod soldner! I was thinking about doing the exact same thing myself. I have been wondering why there's been such a lack of an aftermarket ak-47 style stock for the SKS, even if it's not an exact clone. Thanks for the inspiration, I hope to get to mine sometime in late summer-fall.

I'm sure he has a lot less $ in this than what a CZ goes for. For those who the price is not an issue, I'm sure they would go for a CZ rather than an AK-ish looking stock fo the SKS even if it was commercially available.
