Hey guys i just finished my project,it's a look a like AK mod to my 1951 tula bought from westrifle.
First ill answer some question that maybe ask,but before ill specify something.
Im not a collector,i bought that unfire Russian sks to be a shooter,why i didnt bought a norinco for that project,simply because if i can buy something that is not made in china,im both hand's on it
.And SKS are original from Russia so i wont buy a copy,the only copy i could buy would be the SKS 59/66 yugo.
Now does it make my SKS shoot better ? no
Does it make it more accurate ? no
Does it's more fun to shoot ? HELL YEAH !
So here some pics :
Now the specs :
I made myself the "receiver".
The handguard's too are made by myself and tainted,varnished.
The pistol grip is a AKM mod to fit the receiver i made,sand,tainted,varnished.
VZ 58 folding stock,re-finished in black,some paint did'nt get right i may re-finished later.
Re-finished the bolt carrier "a la AK 47"(btw that's the only part i did mod permanently,the rest of the gun still stock and i can swtich back to it's original stock in 5 min.
Made my own Scope mount(base on scout scope mount) with a aimshot red dot reflex.
And of course 2 x tapco mags pin to 5.
And when fold the SKS lenght is 30 inch,so it dont change to restricted.
So feel free to comment or blast me on that mod !!!

PS: Yes you hear my girlfriend complaining for the sound with big french word,she forgot to wear her hear plug.
