Umm yeah, what is a 8mm? lol From what I know, it's bigger then a 30 cal but smaller then a 40? I dunno geez I suck. I take it they are more then adequate for moose and bear correct?

Looks nice. Way better then what I have. Does it have a limbsaver on it or is that a R3 pad?
Just shutup and eat your cereal.. ;)

8x57

Nothing wrong with the 8x57, and the rifle is very nice. With the long mag of the 700 the 8mm mag will go right in and with the 20" barrel the muzzle blast would be super impressive.

I have a 700 Classic in 8x57. It is a factory rifle in every respect, with only a bit of tuning done to the trigger. I love this rifle. I shot a moose with the 200 Accubond at 2600 fps (24" barrel). The shot was out past 250 yards, but it dumped that bull instantly!! 180 Ballistic Tips are positively the most accurate bullet in mine, with the 200 AB next. Both will shoot under 1" Another great bullet in this rifle is the 200 Partition, which is nearly as accurate, and is a Premium bullet that has a proven track record. If you want real performance, try Vihtavuori N550 powder! Regards, Eagleye.
