my guess would be C-products...
looks just like Questar's "RRA LAR-15" 9mm mags without the markings (and maybe the extra 5rds) if i understood correctly RRA mags are in fact C-products with RRA markings.

Good start. Do you have a mag-block yet? hard to tell from the pic...

Here's my new toy that just arrived today. Upgrades have already happened. :)

Ok, now your guys have got me thinkin 9mm for my next build...who makes 9mm lowers?? Are the parts interchangable with 5.56 parts? I am thinkin this could make for a fun little blaster!

9mm and 223 are almost the same. you need a mag block, 9mm hammer or modify an M16 hammer, barrel, bolt and different spring/buffer.

223 is getting harder to get at good prices. 8mm is easy and cheap to get. besides, i only play out to 100m with the AR anyways.

Hope you don't mind me posting this in your thread.

I just finished putting mine together. Hope to sneak out on Sunday for some range time with it. :)

removed pic for now

5.56 and 9mm lowers are the same except you need a mag block

Mag Blocks
Assuming you are building a RRA / Colt "colt style" system 9 ( vs oly arms ) you can use a RRA mag block. There are 3 Hahn blocks that are much nicer than the RRA but harder to find. These us Colt or modified Uzi Mags

You can also use a VM
Hytec system that takes UNMODIFIED Uzi Mags

Triggers

You must use a 9mm trigger ( RRA good source ) , a bobbed M16 hammer, or a DPMS style

If you are ok with a mediocre trigger pull then this is the way to go . If you want a match style trigger ( RRA NM, CMC and other aftermarket ) you need to get your bolt ramped ( without a ramped bolt you will lock up the works as soon as the bolt goes forward the first time ....you have to take the upper / lower apart to clear jam )

IMO this is the only way to go. I also use my lowers for 9mm and target shooting so I want a good trigger. A properly ramped bolt works for pretty well all triggers

Problem is you will have to take it to a machine shop since none of the ar builders do this in Canada as a service

Another advantage of the ramped bolt is its much easer on your FCG pins . Take a look at a AR 5.56 bolt . They all have a ramp . Dont know why the 9mm colt style bolts dont . Ramping a 9mm bolt duplicates a m16 style ramp

Buffer

Lastly you need a 9mm buffer which is heavier . Easy to change out so no big deal . You can get away with a Enidine hydralic buffer for both but they are pretty pricey

10 inch barrel ,CTR stock. the rest is unknown. got parts from here and there, but there are no names or logo's. there is a keyhole mark on the upper. that is all i know.

gonna have to get some KNS anti-rotation pins. the hammer one keeps walking out. quite common for 9mm is what i hear.

what FCG do you? have in my colt RO634 has NEVER moved the pins (i did wear out a sear and hammer at about the 3500 rnd mark)

I dont often use my ro634 lower (too valuable) so I set up a eagle lower for 9mm and found that if i used anything but colt parts they wore out or brake fast and went fullauto as the hammer/disconector/trigger wore out fast Once i got colt parts it was fine expensive through

are you useing the early long tail bolt hold open or the newer normal .223 bolt hold open

if its the long tail be carefull i broke one and they are HARD to find in canada
