My new baby - coyotes beware!

Still thinking about what I said about the kissing part? You're curious now aren't you? :D:D:D Maybe Bob's dancecard is open:eek::eek:

Uhhhh, still out on the smoochin' part, but I see nothing wrong with a little waltz around the huntin' fire:runaway: (p.s. the little run away guy dances better than I do).
I'll save the first one for you........:dancingbanana:

My dancing has been likened to a frog in a blender but if you'll let me lead....what theck! :runaway::dancingbanana:

hmmmmm....looks like a sixties ADL....complete with impressed checkering, square safety knob and short bolt plug...a nice old 700.

I've seen it in print where 700's up to 1967 had cut-rifled tubes...they are usually good shooters...

according to the stamping codes on the barrel, it's made in February of 1965! Square safety switch, short shroud, and a big cut out of the rear receiver bridge. Im not sure if back then they bedded & free floated the action, but this one is. It doesn't appear to have many rounds through it. Only thing that has been altered is the butt plate removed and replaced with a Limbsaver :(

It does shoot fantastic, but its not fast. Average 250 fps below what factory ammo is rated at (for 40, 50, 55 Hornady vmax). Rifle has 24" barrel

I loaded some rounds up with IMR 4007ssc, maybe that will perk it up a bit...the data looks good. Will test on Sunday

Rumour has it that tb found his first grey hair the other day. His twentys are mostly spent. Now he's buying wood stock rifles. Next he will be buying a minivan. Its just the logical progression of life I guess

Not a mini-van, but an old E350 with a half-naked, axe wielding Amazon riding a rainbow tiger, leaping out of the mouth of a fiery volcano, airbrushed on the sides. :D
