Thrilled to death it arrived, unscathed... She is a beaut and my God, super light (!!). While she'll be fitted with some decent glass once the scope and Czech-made mount arrives in the mail, but it points with absolute ease, almost like a light weight upland fowl gun. The sights come right up to eye level and align easily . While it has a 23.6 inch barrel, it's only 40 or so inches long. She'll make a great Euro stalking rifle along side her 71 year old grandmother in 7x57 (Brno 21).

Oh, and 1 inch sling swivels. Thank God

Very nice wood with the usual Brno utility finish. She'll have no problem seeing a few drops of rain.

Thanks. It certainly is a proper stalking rifle. Swings and points like it should. As soon as I have some time, I'll post proper pics. It's my third Brno, and like the others, it has impeccable metal work and nice bluing.

Brno only "lived on" from 2009 to 2014, with guns made for the 2010 to 2014 model years. Mine is serial 155, made 08/13, as indicated on the underside of the action.

Interesting. Like a Champion shotgun with the mechanism beefed right up. I don't mean that condescendingly -- I've wondered what the limits to that design are. Thanks!
