I'm going to tell you the truth...this kit I charged bfiles $300 for...that was without the matching bayonet handle in Red oak and I also ate the cost of finding the butt plate and swivel(which usually involves buying a whole AK butt). Please give me a while to get some more sets together. I will be offering several kits of the folder variety in woods like cherry, black cherry, white oak, red oak, Canadian hard maple, Iroko, cocobolo, ash, ect...prices will vary according to what I'm offering at the time and I will post in the EE when the time comes. I don't and can't do this full time and as such I'm no longer taking custom orders from anyone. I am a fellow gun enthusiast and I want people to be happy with the end result and refuse to rush on anything knowing how picky people are about their firearms and I don't blame them at all. Please don't offer to send me wood to save yourself money...I have wood...aged and dried properly. I am overjoyed at the response this set has received and I'm happy to have a person like bfiles who is a good friend and a super enthusiast who shares his ideas and keeps me focused on coming up with great ideas and looks. There will be more furniture coming soon... much different than anything that you will see the other guys making. I hope that if you do purchase a set that you will have a piece that you can truly say not 1 person has the exact same thing...it will be uniquely yours...Id like to thank everyone for their kind comments... I am truly humbly and bashfully honored. Believe it or not ...I have not fired my own unfired CZ since I started this about 2+ years ago...the poor girl is dusty from all the fittings...but man she has worn so many ###y outfits since then!
Its funny how so many people on here wana spend money and effort to turn their VZ into a fake AK ? i just dont understand it? cool factor? , seems kinda pointless to me ? Be proud of your VZ, its a better rifle than the AK in so many ways, its lighter, has better handling and ergos, more accurate, has only 2 stamped parts and the beaver barf stock is unaffected by wet conditions it will not swell unlike wood, it goes on .. the AK may be a better mud gun and its easier to mass produce but those are its only advantages over the VZ .. Did you know the VZ was preferred by the North Veitnamese special forces over the AK .. I just watched the movie ''Full Metal Jacket'' the other day for the first time in years and i realized the the Veit Cong girl that has the US squad pinned down and kills a few guys at the end of the movie is shooting a VZ , now thats pretty cool i think.

there are two reasons people want them to look like aks #1 the AK is an iconic gun #2 we can't have them ... yet. for me this is the best of both worlds CZ action ak looks. its like having the coolest most fun chick ever transplanted into the hottest girls body. perfect

well i guess its not near as bad as that yahoo who butchered up a historical WW2 SVT40 to make a fake SVD ... SVT40s go for up to $2000 down south because they cant import them anymore , what that guy did would bring most collectors i know in the US to tears .. call me crazy but im just a anti bubba anti tacticool purest ..

look , all these VZ to AK mods are cosmetic , it can be changed back in a few minutes . dont make a big issue out of it .
Yea i know these VZ mods arnt permanent , also people should be able to do whatever they want to their own property no matter how unnecessary and pointless it is .. if it makes them happy go for it ,, just stating my opinion in a respectful way on a open forum , thats why people post stuff like this on here right? for other peoples opinion.. These are more than cool enough for me

and I dont like all that plastic on these rifles.
I feel its a matter of personal taste...some people would rather have a scary looking tactical rifle while others are happy with the standard furniture the rifle comes with. This all started for me out of people wanting to put their own personal touch on a rifle but no one offered the parts necessary to do it. If you put a put a Fiero body on top of a Ferrari frame it doesn't alter the performance of the car or in this case, rifle. Maybe you have to make slight adjustments for the feel or other. In the end that piece is yours and you have what you were trying to achieve. I have looked at all the mods and different applications people have gone through to achieve this. There are a lot of brilliant things being done to these rifles...some I like ...some I hate!...but if the owner is happy and proud then they have what they wanted. Until its modded so far as to take a different round and not even resemble what it started out as its still the same rifle regardless if it looks like a duck or an umbrella. Its not the paint on the car or the car itself...its how you operate it that matters most.
In case anyone is wondering what a folder set will look like this is 1 in Canadian hard maple stained red with matching bayonet handle and cheek piece. Cheek piece is not completed on this. I still have to put a bolt in it. Special Thank-you to Curtton for sharing the details on the cheek piece.

of the two I like the full wood in maple best. you did a fine job on the folder as well, my taste just runs more to wood. nice work
