I don't subscribe to any one way of thinking on how a gun should look.
If I like it, I buy it.
Sorry for the delay with the pictures. I have them uploaded to my webserver at home. I just had some new office furniture delivered last night, so the webserver is offline in the corner of the room.
The finish is quite odd. Its like a hard enamel. Cleaning this finish is a joke.
The first thing I do when I get a new firearm is detail strip it, clean it and coat it with CLP until its almost dripping, overnight. This way all steel gets a nice oil treatment with all the bonuses of the components in CLP. Makes all cleanings painless.
As you could imagine the fit and finish of the pistol is nothing short of outstanding. The night sights(green) are extremely bright, and easy to pickup in bright light. The tint of the finish seems to change with the amout of light. Indoor light makes it look darker, slightly green tint to it. In bright outside light its really sandy and light in colour. Of course it was my girlfriend that noticed this.
I made it out to the range for a few hours this past Saturday. No pictures of that as the camera didnt make it into the range bag. It went bang every pull of the trigger....... big surprise there.
As for accuracy, it shoots better than I do. Compared to other pistols I own it reminds me of my USP Tactical in terms of accuracy. That guns also shoots better than I do.
The only interesting thing to note about its first range trip was the way it throws brass. The first 100 rounds or so flew all over the place, and far.
I mean it launched brass from one end of the range hut to the other. Nobody to the right of me was safe from hot 45 brass. However by the end of the day it had calmed down and started putting them all in the same place.
I also brought my new Para LTC with me, also a great shooting pistol.
This pistol had only been out once before and had 75 rounds through it.
Long story short. I'm really impressed with the Warrior pistol. That hard finish coating on the desert model is a bonus. Round count is at 300 for the warrior and 150 for the Para.
