Well, I don't have it in my hot little hands yet, but Dennis [Guntech]has shown me pictures of my new LR rifle that can also be used for the occasional hunt. It is a 6.5x55 AI [40º shoulder] The action is a 721 Remington, the barrel a Lothar-Walther in 1-8" twist. The action has been fully worked over by Dennis, and I will install the Jewell trigger when it arrives home shortly. The stock is a Remington 700 Pepper laminate, and the barrel/action is bedded properly in it. I have great expectations for this one, and should have enough "oomph" to be very effective out to 1000 meters and beyond. I will be trying the 139 Lapuas and the 142 Sierras first, and probably the 140 A-max as well. Here's a pic of the product. Regards, Eagleye. [Thanks a lot Dennis!!]
