My new N-frame!

Wow, thanks for all the replies! :D

Right now I'm leaning towards the Pachmayr Grippers, but I'll hold off on a decision until I actually shoot the thing :)

Another question though - I am new to all things S&W. Why are the stock grips that I and PaveHammer have called Magna grips?

Please keep the suggestions coming :D

Excellent choice.....

With full house .357's your hands will appreciate them. Wood grips look cool but that checkering bites into the palms with the heavier loads.

Hey Polaris, those aren't Hogue Grips. Hogue grips are attached to the gun by a screw through the base of the grips. They look like AJAX grips with the S&W medallion. Have these on my Colt Python with the Colt medallion.

You are absolutely right, my mistake...
I don't know why I always thaught they are Hogue grips...
nevertheless this are the best grips I ever had...and I have /had Hogue rubber grips (GP100,Super Redhawk), as well as Pachmayr grips...

Why? Herrett makes each set of Jordan Troopers, individually, to fit the outline of your hand.

jaybird, the checkered Target Grips are what I call "Cheese Graters".

Regards,

Richard:)

Even with them done for my hand drawing, I found them just a little too large. I still use them on a couple of lower recoil N frames (Outdoorsmans), but I prefer the Roper design for my hands. Other folks' experience may vary. - dan
