My New Rifle! First Big Boy Cal!!!

Awesome, I wasnt sure at first, but with that scope it looks rad, I would love to try it myself, I have read the T/C rifles do a good job of managing recoil, I have a Ruger # 1 Stainless in .300 win mag with a bushnel 4200 tactical and love it for ranging game and handles very well out to 500 m, I have taken 5 deer with it at varing ranges and very happy with it but like some of the others have said bullet placement is key for managing lost meat. At first I wasnt sure about the recoil and what to expect but after shooting it found it to be very pleasant and can shoot a box of rounds establishing ranges with no issues, thanks for sharing
 
Congrats on your new toy. Excellent choice of chambering for a new hunter's do-it-all hunting rifle.

I handled one of these in a shop recently. Butt ugly, yes, but it was very comfortable, came to the shoulder well and fit nicely. I'm sure you will love it.

Next stop: reloading!
 
Excellent caliber, I've taken alot of game with the 300 WM, it is one of the best all around cartridges ever made. Your choice of rifles on the other hand.........actually haven't heard anything bad about the TC. The asthetics are a little offensive to my eyes, but to each his own.....enjoy and welcome to the CF community. It's just the beginning, I hope you realize..............!!!
 
Only shot 9 rounds due to the lack of area to actually go out and shoot this, so i had some fun with it, might take it out again on the weekend, then off to hopefully try it out the next weeked!
