I got out and shot my Kimber today. The rifle is a Kimber 84L Classic chambered in 30/06. I mounted a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8X scope on it. I loaded up some 180 grain Nosler Partitions with some H-4350 powder and figured that would be a good place to start. I shot three 3-shot groups and they measured 1.270", 1.015", and 1.390" for an average of 1.225". I hope I will be able to improve on that with some load work, but if I can't I will still be happy because that is still pretty good for a gun and scope combo that weighs 6.75lbs.
