My newest purchase from IRG Lets SEE PICS OF YOURS:) !!!

My tan TP9SA just arrived...and holy cow is it most aesthetically pleasing! I will post a couple of pics once I am able to take it to the range. To anyone waiting for theirs...she's a real looker! Thanks to the guys and gals at IRG...and I love the t-shirt to boot.

My nephew with it at the range...the gun was very accurate. I was able to hit the small metal plates at 25m with almost every shot. My nephew...well, he has some work to do if he is going to defend himself from zombies with a pistol...

A huge Kudos to Patrick at IRUNGUNS for the helping hand! His patience with my nagging calls and questions, taking my order... all of it! Nice work Patrick!

May I present my newest endeavour fresh out of the box:

Primary Weapons Systems MK116 Mod 1 in 300 BLACKOUT

Can you please list the changes you made. It looks great.

I replaced the front sight post with a low profile gas block, and free floated the barrel with a Daniel Defense RIS II. Then the rail covers, vertical grip, and hand stop are all Knights Armament. I think the next step will be to put a muzzle brake on it to soften the recoil a bit.

Thats a pretty nice build :)

How easy it it to do such a modification:

1. Replace post sight with a low profile gas block.
2. Free float the barrel
2. Install the Quad rail

what tool are required? Do I need a vice grip?

If this is your upper...

Got a call from Steve and I was told they may not have enough of these therefore they offered me a replacement PSA 6" Keymod Upper with 7" barrel (extra $50)

I accepted the offer. Now the question is what kind of buffer and spring should I use, given such a small barrel length and 7.62x39 cartridge? anything to be mindful?

Then you are already running a free floated quad rail with no sight block.

You'll need punches, a vise, an upper receiver action block, and an ar-15 tool. I also used a front sight block from Brownells that helped a lot.

Honestly though, if you're only looking to do it on one rifle you're better off saving a bit of money and going to a gunsmith.

When I talked to Spencer late this week the word was the rig will roll in MONDAY! So excited, this is my first order and so far has been a great trouble free experience. :)
