Here you go guys! Just rolled in the door. Changed the grip and rail covers already. Very impressed with this thing so far!

Is there room or allowance for a small rail under the handguard in front of the slide for a bipod? Would a bipod/rail interfere with the cycling?

thanks for that, might drop the hammer on a 308 today :)......but the wait will be torture :(
 
With the Troy factory rail covers taken off (as in the pic) there is about 3 inches of space to the front of the handguard. Should be fine for putting a short section of rail on!
 
awesome thanks for that......I assume from the pics that the 308 is roughly the same

also does the slide bar/mechansim seem beefy enough for a vertical grip?, or would it maybe be too much lateral force on the mechanism?

My first and hopefully not last addition in 7.62.



I would like to get a little higher magnification optic to go on it but the 1-4 off of my Recce will have to do so I can get some range time with it.
