My newest purchase from IRG Lets SEE PICS OF YOURS:) !!!

Ok the GunBroker auction ends in 2hrs but I got the shotgun my wife reaaaaly wanted. Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon LEFT HAND 30" 12g. Oddly the lefty isn't carried up here/doesn't exist. And to top it off I figure it's going to cost $3050 all in. A regular 686 is $2990 before taxes! Who hoo!:dancingbanana:

My SIG 226RX is sitting at the post office, I just have to go home first as I left my wallet at home, doh!

I honestly had no idea there was such thing as a left handed break action. Learn something new everyday.

All you guys getting them IRG t-shirts.....was bummed out my packaging didn't contain one, or two lol

A couple of new additions, received them a couple of days ago. Named "Bersie" and "Melania"

Why do you have two lasers on the rifle?

One is IR and one is visible light if I am not mistaken.

sort of correct, both lasers shown are capable of visible and ir lasers. the DBAL is a green laser, the ATPIAL is red. i had the DBAL first but got the ATPIAL to complete my CQBR block 2 rifle. i dont run both, that picture was just silliness and to show the stuff IRG imported for me. both lasers, the warden and the dual tape switch are from IRG

heres how its actually set up.

Interesting. What is the benefit or a red laser vs green? Or is it simply a preference thing?

Very ###y looking rifle btw.

the human eye picks up more shades of green than any other color if i remember correctly. or at least more than red, so its easier to see. i think most guys though prefer the look of a viable green laser because the color green is associated with night vision and if you dont have NV than a green visible laser is the next coolest thing, at least to me.

by all accounts the DBAL is the better laser unit, it has a green laser which is much easier to see in daylight and seems to have a farther throw. it also has a focus able IR illuminator. both are the same price. i went with the ATPIAL because it is the correct unit for a CQBR Block 2 build. so it was mainly about completing the look opposed to any real technical advantage. from what i read however is that the ATPIAL's laser has a farther range in NV. but ill need NVGs to confirm that for myself

its more of a practical thing than a colour association thing. you are right however green is much much easier to see in daytime conditions. it is also just a more powerful type of laser than red, so it also has a farther throw

If your color blind like me then the color makes a huge difference
