My Nordic build (not dialup or small monitor friendly)

The problem remains though... where do we get these things?

Fabsports is all out with no word on when new ones will be coming in.
 
Can anyone tell me if the midwest industries floating handguard will work on the nordic?

I'm a little confused because I can't see how the midwest one actually attaches. I can see that it has a threaded section on the nordic itself.

I know I can get the midwest one through wolverine.

I'm really looking for a forearm 'now', if you know what I mean. I have everything here/coming, except for a forearm. I wanted to get one through fabrice, but its 'two weeks' all the time (not his fault though).
 
I finally got mine all together today. No pics yet :(

But I have to say that I am impressed with it. I put a fixed stock on mine and it feel just like the real thing. The 20 in bull barrel I have on there is just a tad heavier than the 20 in sporter I am replicating. I love it.

The neatest thing was those little plastic grub screws. I didnt get instructions with mine, but I gather that these three plastic screws for a sort of bedding system. Its pretty neat. Cant wait to chase some hockey balls around the 100m point this weekend!
 
got mine yesterday :D :D now just waiting on my barrel and I'm in buisness!!!

Man!!! I got my kit in the mail. Got a few of the parts. BUT ITS KILLING ME!!! to wait for the remaining stuff!

WAHHH!!!! I want to shoot this thing so bad!!!

(And post lots of gun #### here of course!)
 
I'm with you guys, I'm going nuts looking at this thing! My 11.5" barrel should be here tomorrow (I Hope). Guess that'll make it functional at least. anxiously awaiting the hand guard for full tacticoolness.

Initially had a hard time justifying a bunch of money into a 22 rimfire... and I've gotten a little ribbing about "get a real AR". But I figure the first few times out to the range (or anywhere 'cause it's NONRESTRICTED!!:D) and I put 500 rounds through it for <20.00 it'll end up paying for it self
 
I take it these skin the receiver and not replace it?

Looks like a snug fit over it, gives a real good look to he 10/22, some one could do good building these for people if you could buy bare receivers from ruger.

1. Looks really cool
2. Non-restricted
3. 500 rounds for 30$ (I like the CCI stuff)

Already reason enough to start this project. :D

Yup just a wraparound for the stock reciever. Tight fit for sure, I've scuffed up my stock reciever putting it in... not that it matters, won't be putting it back to stock ever again.
