Did they have to deact Hitler's car too? I had to see weapons like that ruined. Don't they have a duty to preserve history not weld it up for display???

Some were welded right to the wall as mentioned?

Oh well better welded to the wall I guess in a museum than the grinder

Agreed I,m just glad we have a "war museum" in Canada because war, guns, tanks etc, are considered profanity to the hippy government a-holes.

Did you have a look at the C-7 in the display of Canadian Weapons?

Have a close look at the serial number. It's #1.

Also, look at the chrome bayonet....it's marked SARP, with some Colonel's name.

This is the presentation C-7 that was given the the CF when they were first adopted.
