My Pup is Finally Home

My breeder Vom Slaney Vale sent me this picture of the litter born a few days ago. There are six males, including mine, and four females. All pups are spoken for.

That white is going to turn a shade or two darker.

That is normal for a Drahthaar. I have seen GWPs with considerable amounts of white as adults, but they were not bred in the VDD system, which helps to keep the bloodlines pure.

To the gentleman asking about colouring, yes, the white on the pups always goes darker... Nos was born brown & white & ALL his white went roan.

Day 8 They are putting on size.

Five weeks. An issue with the photo site caused most previous pictures to disappear.

The six week old pups have now been assigned to each owner, and my pup is below. His eyes are changing color, and he is growing the Drahthaar facial hair. I leave for Manitoba on the 7th to pick him up. The next pictures will be of the pup in his new home.
