Nice review! I like that you went into how the rifle feels, instead of just how it shoots.
As for CCI SV, most CCI I've tried has shot better than I expected, even the Mini-Mags. Having said that, I rate the SV as the same grade or slightly worse than SK Standard Plus.
Of the garden variety North American .22 ammunition, CCI is probably the best for QC. Federal Ultra Match gets good reviews, but I'm not sure who makes it for them.
I gave up on Winchester .22 ammo a few years ago. I had an older (think 10 yrs old) brick of Wildcat that worked ok in my Ruger mkII, then I bought two new bricks. I was lucky to get through a mag without a FTF or a stovepipe. Miserable to use.
Remington Thunderbolts were relatively reliable, but the gun looked like you'd been shooting charcoal briquettes through it, filthy stuff..
