My rem is done. :)

As for a banana clip, cigarette lighter and not sure what the other things were, those are not very helpful in having me setup my rifle. Just childish remarks that may make other laugh but really serve no purpose in helping anyone out. Really doesn't bother me either just makes me stop reading your post when I see something stupid like that.

1) I think the banana clip would be cool.

2) I commend you for having the ball$ to tolerate the guff, while awaiting solid advice.

3) I personally think your rifle is cool.

Thanks. :)

Stupid!? Are you serious!? That rifle is the fugliest P.O.S. I have ever seen!! You obviously have no clue of how ridiculous it is! Because it so over-the-top poorly conceived, you open yourself up to getting those kinds of responses.

It looks like you got some mixed ideas about creating some kind of multi-use military-tactical field rifle, but you went about it all wrong.

Seriously, when I saw it, I laughed out loud. It looks like a boat anchor to me!

It's pretty clear that you are young, ignorant and in-experienced. You have some learning to do. Don't take offense when guys with some experience try to suggest a better way. You might learn something.

You know that Remington would be okay if you had left it alone and simply mounted a powered fixed or variable scope on it, with appropriate height rings.

Cool? ..... Watcha gonna use it for?? Actual hunting, or fondling?

There's been lots of "solid advice" already given in this thread. It's not been taken, so the thread has turned into a comedy.

Here's another example of a better set up for that type of rifle.

While mine is a pump, that basic rifle is the same. It HANDLES & FUNCTIONS perfectly.

You FAIL Supercub, the scope isn't purple enough.....oh, and don't you remember it needs the 15,500,000mm objective for the nights he's out hunting that fall under the new moon. That little scope will never bring in enough light.

I don't really understand the scope on this gun either.
If that was my gun, I would remove that scope and leave on the 3pt. sling and pistol grip. That way when a deer busted outa the thick stuff I could just spin and shoot from the hip.

I don't see much benefit in continuing to slam the owner of the rifle. He's a young guy, fellow gun owner, it's not like he's Stephane Dion who would surely be looking to take our guns away if elected.

Posting examples of rifles that are set-up properly to me would be a lot better way to go.
