My Ruger American .270 ( PICS UP )

New package from Brownells today. Harris S-BMR with POD-LOC. What a difference. Still doesn't compare to my Atlas. But its much better then the non S models.

I picked up one in 270 as well. Had a rem 7600 pump in 270 before that, and loved it. 130 is normally what I shoot for deer,but not sure if I will bump up to 140 or 150 for bigger game. I really like this gun so far but have been having a prob with the bolt slipping right out of the gun once in while. Was goin to contact ruger to see if they have answers. Otherwise it's a tack driver.

And I saved a bunch of cash thru Prophet River for my scope... Redfeild 4-12 X40

I've had great success with 150 grain Nosler Partitions by Federal when I was using my .270 for deer, elk, and moose...now that it's just my deer rifle I've switched to 140 grain Nosler Accubonds loaded by Nosler.
 
keep shooting her at the range and adding stuff to her .the price goes down the more you shoot her .I am waiting to buy her once you get board with shooting her .haha D
