I have no money to join a range close to me. Maybe I would have been way furthar ahead but no money.

I can see the target but just not as close I want to. I want the orange paint in the center of the target to fill up my scope when I look at it.

Tasco rings are s**t so I am not going to buy them.
You blew $75.00 on Saturday taking a few shots.

Yes but thats it totally differant. I had a chance to shoot some guns I could never afford. I was suppost to bring 4 other people with me to try to get them into guns also but they all didn't show up in the morning so I left without them. I later found out they all slept in until around noon when they were suppose to be ready at 8 am.

I make about $2000 a month. $800 for rent, $500 for insurance, $100 on bills, $200 on food, $90 on gas. Tell me where you see that extra $1000 I can spend on a range for the first year for a membership. I also have to spend money if I go out, bullets, other misc stuff. I am left with like $200 a month personal. If I range was about $300 I would have no problem joining if it was close to me and I could shoot my 30-06, shotgun and 22.

point well taken cereal83,could i suggest you sell your rings in the EE and thus put the money towards a higher set?i have heard from a few people that ranges can be expensive to join in your area.

MY GOD  $500 a month insurance? is that with a clean record?

move west young man ,move west!

$500 a month insurance what do you drive a ferrari ? holy crap boy i pay not even $60 a month for insurance LOL
i will dig through my box of parts to see if i have any high rings LOL that i cna send to you LOL

cereal83, if you are really serious, approach a Club and ask if they take installments or have a payment plan. Some may want initiation up front, some may be accomodating. Doesn't hurt to ask.

In my opinion, money alone should not be the sole criteria to membership.

I could ask but I feel embarresed to ask that. The money is the only reason stopping me from joinging a range. It's not that I don't want to or anything like that it's just my options are basically Sharon gun club and it's $1000 for the first year because you have to buy a stupid share for the property that doesn't make you money but rather makes the owners money.

seesh $1000 for the first year? my god thats retarded do they have hot girls in miniskirts and tube tops to serve you drinks at the firing line ? and does it include a massuse to rub out the sore shoulders afterwards ? even the most expensive club here is something like $300 anualy EOHC is better then that club and there only $100 and somthing a year. have you talked to Storm about EESA they seem like a decent club and i am sure there close enough to you that it would be feasable

For Sharon, it's $1000 the first year because you buy a share of their land and you get a year free with the purchase of a share. Then after that it's $340 a year or something like that.

EESA is way too far for me to go every weekend. I am moving to Toronto in a few weeks as it will be closer but it's still going to be a good 1 hour 45 minutes to get there and thats alot of gas money. EESA had great prices and a great range compared to anything I know of around me.

Ummm no 8.....How is someone with 671 posts so gunsmithally challenged to not know any of this already.

Because my skills don't lie in guns or anything close to guns. If you don't have anything better to say, stay out of my threads

Than follow everyones advice and buy the proper god damn rings. Quit humming and hawing waiting for the answer that you want to hear. If you are not prepared to hear the answer dont ask the question.

And you are right, I apologize, what does a high post count infer anyway.

I do have the proper rings now and the scope is on the gun and it looks great.

High post count is because I always have to explain myself to people like you because obviously everybody in the world knows everything about guns except me and it's wrong to ask questions aroud here
