ti
Hi folks,
Thanks for all the 'nice setup'(s), it should indeed do the trick...
Rembo, indeed the original ti's are sweet aren't they, and I bet they will shoot darned near as good as the alaskan.
TB, right back at ya, I remember seeing yours posted awhile back and I thought the same, the only difference is the colour and lop.
Supercub, I had a few reasons for going with the Micky Edge, the first being I find the original stock to be a little whippy in the forend area, the grip is way to small for my hand, I like the finish on the Mcmillans better, the lop isn't long enough, no checkering on the original and finally, I've always wanted a Mcmillan stock

.
As for the weight difference, I forgot to mention that mine is bedded as well, which will add a bit of weight, and the rest, well, add a little for the increased length and butler creek flip caps...Stock to stock variation could also factor in as well as scale to scale variation. Oh yeah, I weighed mine on a Canada Post scale...
From the research that I did on action weights etc I found a post on another site from a fellow who was puting a custom barrel on his ti that the action weighed 8 oz less than a steel one...
Damn how I wish Talley would come out with a super low set of rings, that would be perfect.
