If she's an old vegan your done, if she's a young vegan she could possibly be converted.
I'm mostly vegan. Won't as a rule eat beef/pork in the stores and restaurants. BUT if it's wild bison/moose/elk/deer/grouse/duck/turkey I will definitely eat it!!

One of my hunting buddies is vegan. He loves to hunt, has shot more deer than me. He gives his share to his sister who is struggling to raise 3 kids on her own. There are many vegans who have no issue with hunting. Being vegan is not the same as being a PETA member.
I say good for her, hope she enjoys the experience, and ignore the uneducated opinions of those above
Some vegans are more against what they see as cruelty in the meat industry then they are against the ethical harvesting of game meat to be eaten.
Good for her, I know a couple ex vegans that realized that eating foods that had to be brought in from the other side of the world had a bigger environmental impact on the world than trying to eat local or wild meat. They now eat meat that they raise or hunt, no factory farmed meat hits their table.
Good luck with that perhaps you can explain what the steps are to prepare a deer for transport after the kill and see her reaction.Shes more vegan for health reasons and to not support factory farming, the whole greenhouse gas thing and everything. Shes definitely aware of the merits of eating local. I'm happy she wants to come. Hopefully all goes well
Seems like a lot are against factory farming vs being against meat all together.
Had to say who has the worst image in the greater world a farmer or a firearms owner.
You could shoot a couple vegetables to provide here a meal as well.
