LOL, I was trying not to. Beavertails, single triggers and choke tubes......none of those things reside in my SxS safe. And likely never will. Hahaha

John I'm focusing on the things I totally love....the heel and toe plates, the engraving, the wood, Oskar's french grey, the double triggers.

James, I love your honesty, you got great knowledge on double guns and I do appreciate your preference, I agree with you on single trigger but some guys love Brunette and other love blonde :)

The choke tubes were done years ago in the 70's, The work was done by Stan Baker according to the previous owner. (look up Stan Baker ckokes)

No, I get it. I knew it wasn't your doing, just bums me out, though the pragmatic side of me knows why someone would do it, I still feel like slapping the guy with a half-frozen fish.

If they are Stan Baker's choke work the thread pattern will be identical to the original Winchoke so you could install those and have a much narrower extension beyond the muzzle if you preferred?

You are absolutely right Spank. Do you know if windchoke make tubes who will fit flush with the muzzle? Thanks
 
Engraving is usually not my thing - but yours was done very tastefully; a little goes a long ways. Gorgeous shotgun you have there - enjoy.

They did during the 80's up until they quit making the late model 101's and 23's but they were a different thread pattern and diameter altogether. They were interchangeable with the original Browning invector and the flush mount Ruger chokes found on the Red Label and Gold Label. I would almost bet Briley has a thin wall flush mount in the original winchoke thread pattern & diameter.
