Mysteries of the 228, 229, 239 and NP-34 (pic heavy)

Got tired of trying to holster your lee-enfields did you?;)

Wait a tick, weren't you giving me a hard time about these awhile back?

holster/scabard keeps banging against my knees :) I guess I need a horse :D

I've got enough Browning HiPowers / clones etc... and the $99 M203 was just too cheap to not buy  thought I would like to try someting different. But not interested really in the 1911 style pistols or glocks, I've tried them and didn't really like them.

I think the NP34 would be a good starting point

Oh and I do have a correct holster for my Enfield revolvers :D

Stamped slides = broken guns unless you keep your eyes on the rolls pins that hold the breach block in. Once the breach block starts to loosen up the slide flexes along it's length and eventually you'll rip rails off your frame. So replace those pins every couple thousand rounds. There should be two roll pins, one inside the other. Milled slides are much much better for longevity of your gun. But bare in mind, aluminum framed guns will not last as long as steel framed ones. So shoot your Stainless ones more!

Ask on the Sig Forum, if I remember correctly they are common pins. Dlask used to sell them, not sure if he still does.
