N555 powder in the 6.5 CM

Lapua SRP brass 43.0gr N555 139gr Scenar
26 inch krieger 8 twist.
2790fps 6.0SD
Shot very well

However i have had just as great luck with N550 especially on shorter barrels like 20-24 inch range.
41.2-41.5gr with the 140gr class bullets have yielded wonderful results.

ok and how did it do ?
Sorry I’m not wry scientific or organized. My notes just say ‘shot great’ which I think was about half Moa. It’s been several mo this since I played with the 147’s I’ve been playing with lighter ones more recently. I’ve picked up some147s today and am loading them up longer for single feed. ;) it’s always a experiment I can never seem to settle lol 😂

N555 sends the Berger 130 grers down the range at a EASY 3000 fps ! I’m gonna up the charge and see what I can get them up too without Over`pressuring ! 30 KS Barrel .😊
I`m at 45.5 grs with a BR4 sparker !

My Target load is 43.5 with a Berger 144 HT avg fps is 2816 fps for 127 shots !

Tikka ace target, 24" barrel, lapua sp brass, 139gr lapua senar, cci 450, 42.8gr n555, velocity 2690fps (tikka barrel I've read are a little slow)
42.8 gr is above the listed max. I went off ultimate reloaders testing with n555 in 6.5 creedmoor and I have zero pressure signs with this load.
Accuracy is very good,3/4 moa or less at 100m, no problems with the 18" plate at 1000m and can hit the 12" every once in a while, my first summer shooting at those distances.
mojoman what OAL / CBOT were you using? I've just got the same gun and am looking at using those same components. Thanks!
