Just to keep everyone posted, the paperwork all done, the order has been placed. Expecting the ammo by the end of January 2009. Realy, this thread should be moved to the ammo section...

Any idea how much if any you'll have available, and what the price would be? I don't have a Nagant revolver yet... but if I can get my hands on ammo i'd love to add one to my safe!

I would think $45-$50 per 50. Milarm Edmonton have some made by Fiochi for $76per 50 rounds...

It is one of the weird cartridges in the world, was not designed by russian designer. That is why we are paying now for this ammo 60$/50 rd.

Question for you pistol people....

i see a lot of nagant pistols for sale in the states but I never see any for sale here.

are nagant pistols prhibited up here due to barrel length or are they just not common?

I have 2: bought one as new surplus and put another one together from parts (looks like new).

I'm still surprised that they are more expensive in Canada then in US. At least in US they have to mark them and we don't have this stupid law active yet.
