Couldn't put a dollar value on it but it was very cool! I have just one original round for my cartridge collection and it's one of my favorites.

Well, Oleg, you've seen the ones I have. I have payed as little as $20/box, and up to $50 for a box. The $50 is usually from a dealer and including taxes. The pistol and kurz I can't really say.

My BD44 would love it,but no,too collectible,I'll keep shooting handloads.
I did get some East German 8mm kurz from Collector Source a few years ago, shot some of those, pretty hot and corrosive of course.

Not worth a plug nickle......totally worthless.....not even sure why you bothered to post it.....

I'll tell you what Horilka, buddy old pal, I'll spare you the embarrassment of owning it...just drop it all in a parcel and ship it to me.....

Seriously though, its all quite collectible and will only increase in value over time. I recently saw a box of WW2 era, plain Jane Mauser for an outrageous price at a show, smiled and kept walking. Next pass by the table 20 min later it was gone. Some people go Koo-Koo bananas for this stuff, especially if the boxes are in excellent condition.

I don't know if it's worth anything or not (I suspect it is), but I certainly find it super interesting and I'd definitely want to buy a box or 2 of it to add to my small collection if I live in the GTA area.

Sometimes this stuff will rust from the inside out as the powder breaks down with age. And you can't tell, until it pinholes the case (by then it's too late).

Libya sold a pile of 8mm Kurz ammo and the STG44's to Syria.........they likely won't be passing them along any time soon......seen them by the truckloads on the news[captured weapons] Harold

Very Collectable... Not to be Shot.. as MKVII said
WWII German STEEL CASINGS CAN BE RUSTED ON THE INSIDE . the power they used was inserted wet , they expected it to have a 5 year shelf life.
blowing up a firearm is never a good thing !
