NB: do you need to plug your shotgun to 3 rounds if NOT hunting Water Foul?

If I'm doing some small game/varmint hunting, to I need to plug my shotgun to 3 rounds here in NB? As I understand it, this is the case in NL, where it's actually written such that no matter what you're hunting, 3 rounds is the limit and a plug must be inserted.
nope in NB it's only for waterfowl and cormorant as stated

upland/small game/varmint requires no plug

I had a friend hassled by a Ranger telling him he needed the plug in his shotgun when he was hunting partridge.

I honestly didn't know about the Cormorant rule, thought it was just migratory waterfowl by Federal regs. They should put that in the handbook when it talks about Cormorant hunting.

And why the hell do you need a plug when Cormorant are a varmint with no limit on how many you can shoot? That doesn't even make any sense...

If you are using your shotgun to cut down trees, I hope it is your wood lot. if it was mine and you did that, you would be kicked off my land and banned. i might also not let any other hunters on my land. It is people like you that give 'hunters" a bad name.

so this thread is old so i dont recall every single post, but who the hellllll are you referring to?????????

Correction: another reason I could "possibly want" to have more than 3 or 5 is because I can!!!

I have a varmint license, but thats just my excuse to go into the woods with my shottie. I want 8+ rounds in my shotgun so I can cut down some trees.

This is what I'm referring to.
