Nea 102

that doesnt stop them from berating their potential customers on their FB page. Calling ppl out on asking simple questions. Reminds me of another company that starts with a T
 
Wonder if they are in the dark as much as we are. It is really up to the lab when it gets it's status. It may well be that they were told by the lab that it's gonna be NR and they would have it officially by the beginning of January, then the end of January, then the end of February, now who knows when pending whatever liberal birdseed.... it must be really hard to keep a hype train going. I'm sure at this point NEA regrets starting it so early. Would make sense to me though if they were to put out a notice informing potential customers of what is going on. Hype is cool but ultimately we want to know. "Oh sorry guys it's taking longer than anticipated so probably not until June" or "They really want to make it restricted so we are working some things out so it'll be a bit" or something like that is all they have to say.
 
Remember how hard SFRC and NEA were pumping the NEA102 hype late December and early in January? Something tells me NEA was told that they should hear back about the 102 in about a month when that was announced in January...then the shooting in Quebec happened, how almost mid March they are not getting any solid updates from the LAB... Coincidence? I doubt it. The Lab can't classified it as Restricted currently and they know it...but they can delay the final classification indefinitely until they "Can" classify it as Restricted. There is nothing we can do because the Liberals rescinded the 180 days to evaluate a gun directive that Blaney issues before the election.

Then why release the Armalite AR10KLM and AR102 entries? Seems counter productive to the conspiracy.

Are you serious...if this wee bit of paranoia is correct then we're screwed. Are you suggesting they are playing with the reclassification of one gun, or they are about to indulge in another that looks scary let's make it prohib fest like in the 90's?
 
From weekly tease post on social media and on here from SFRC to absolutely nothing means that they have made no headway with the classification = bad news. This non restricted rifle ain't happening

This would not surprise me in the least. We KNOW the Lieberals hate firearms (for whatever illogical reason) and will not hesitate to ban everything and anything they can.

The "techs" at the RCMP Firearms Lab all study to dance to their masters' (read diehard Lieberal-supporting senior management) tune, so anything, ANYTHING at all they can use to ban or restrict a firearm they will - and they'll do it with sh!t-eating grins on their faces.

Just to inject a slight difference of opinion. I doubt the Liberals hate firearms, but they love votes, also why the CPC made a lot of noise, but only changed things in a way that any right thinking person would agree with. I'd also suggest that the real push behind Black Rifles being eliminated comes from the Police Chiefs. I'm not looking to cause a ruckus, but if the shoe fits so to speak...

The police chiefs don't all agree either. The cacp vote on matters and move forward on opinions by majority rule. Which regions of the county have more police agencies and thus more chiefs of police?

Ontario, and Quebec.
 
Why do people keep saying they're going to ban this and all other Black rifles?
Why would they? Makes no sense.
If they ban everything, look at the job losses, lost tax money,etc.
We just got the apc,MV and a few others,
So it makes no sense to ban this. Absolutely no gain from that.
I don't think they give a sh!t about the Nea.
Just a cat and mouse game to them, and maybe a job.
 
not to mention the original thread has been locked for awhile now when it was only supposed to be "a few days" I too dont think this rifle is happening.

No doubt where most of the voters Liberals pander to on this issue live. I'm hoping they just leave us be, a little word with the lab about what they are actually doing with their time couldn't hurt, but I think both parties are sensitive to the center. In this case they don't want to see carte blanche, but I think the point that there hasn't been real problems with firearms in Canada sways people to our side.

Not that it matters, it may happen, it may not, time will tell.
