Nea 102

And what exactly is available out there that everyone is buying in this price range?

For me personally, I only shotgun hunt and I'm 10-15 minutes from a range, but 45 minutes from public land where I can shoot. So for me in the category of "$1500 range toy" has virtually endless alternatives (including an Armalite AR10) I had an itch for a .308 for a while but I decided to buy a bolt gun and another pistol rather than continue waiting for something that may never come. I've also started collecting parts for building another AR15 upper. That isn't to say I'll never buy one, but in January/February I was prepared to be at the front of the line. Now, I'm in the "maybe someday" group and based on KotKotofeich's post I'm not the only one.

I've never understood why so many on this site act like you can only have one rifle and once you buy something you can't buy anything else.

For me personally I'm not much of a "collector" so my cabinet stays pretty lean. If I don't use something it generally gets rehomed, and if I don't think I'll use it I don't buy it. Where 3 months ago this gun would have filled a need for me, it no longer does. I don't pretend to speak for everyone, but I find it doubtful that I'm the only one in this position.

I am still waiting patiently, an update would be nice. But even if it's next year I'll buy one.

We'll post an update when we have one. They are still waiting on the RCMP lab...it's taking longer than the time that they were originally advised. I wish it would approved too...I'm be selling a ton of them.

I really have been waiting patiently for this to happen. But my thoughts on this situation, are based on what's not being said by the RCMP. It's a indication to what we are all about to face.

Anything not being said is an assumption.

Take that for what you may.

There is a difference between hypothesis and assumption.

Actually they are synonyms, meaning that hypothesis and assumption are interchangeable.

Neither are based on facts. They are supposed thoughts or explanations based on limited or no evidence as a starting point for further investigation. Not a validated opinion or conclusion coming at the end of such investigation.

Actually, hypothesis is based on limited facts. NEA did everything right on this one. 2 years they worked on it. Also, as per UN markings and other facts from 2016 and 2017 federal budget it is quite clear Trudeau is fully engaged to the UN Agenda. See post 2015 UN Agenda. So no, not all the facts are present. But it's not a stretch either. Is it?

The markings are coming. But saying anything else is happening is pure conjecture without any other evidence to support what actually might happen. They could do a lot of things, but again they haven't said what, so its all guess work from doing nothing more right up to banning all guns. Hardly a bet to say nothing or everything or something in between will happen.

And if you look up either assumption or hypothesis in a thesaurus, you'll see they are in fact synonyms making them interchangeable.

I think it is the usual dragging it out.I think based on how quickly the nea 25 was cassified, this is a good sign. Just my opinion.

Actually the lab is just waiting on their 8-axis CNC diamond tipped laser cutter to be designed and manufactured in Japan so they can show it's easily converted to fully auto.

If they come in nr and at the expected price point I will get one for sure. Then if its decent will even dump my new dpms g2.

Like all things firearms related in Canada, everything is a practice of patience. Hopefully NEA receives a NR designation then all the waiting will have been worth it! Going to have to keep some extra cash available for when the orders go out! The want is strong with this one!
