Sorry guys... got another one
typical.... winds all over the place im after pork found them heard them grunting never saw them. so continued wandering around then i hear crashing on a spur above me, walk a little way up more crashing and it's heading down hill about 30m away. Moving a little up the spur (it is about 5m higher than the valley i was in.) the crashing is moving down hill in front of me. I wait and watch through in a gap in the trees i spot a red yearling. Line up rifle for the next gap sure enough she stops in it. up on the neck POP! drop! YAY!!! at 6:55pm

i was behind the leaning tree fern at the back centre of the pic below.

yes im in my work uniform and it still smells like deer
pretty good damage from the 60gr NBT

after dressing out found a bit of a problem... i've never actually needed to carry one out before it soon dawned on me i had nothing to really tie it up with. after 20 minutes of trying to figure out how to do it with tendons (after i had all ready taken the hocks off.) i looked at the NEA and promptly tore the 3 point sling apart threaded it through the hocks and got it sorted we started off at sunset 8:04pm to return to the boat at 9:20pm
Im gonna be feeling that tomorrow
total distance covered 3.2km
