NEA-15 after 400 Rounds Fired **Pic Heavy**

... Wherever your BCG is I bet it's staked. ;)

Contact your dealer. There are circumstances where rifles are shipped without BCG's, it could just me a mixup. Either way, it's easily remedied,

And can we get a picture of the threadstarters entire gun?

Sure!

Here she is, just back from today's 2-gun match at EESA (the NEA-15 performed flawlessly today which is more than can be said for the operator :p )

I had a chance to shoot Runningfool's NEA today after the 2 gun match at EESA. I was impressed and can't wait for my 7.5" that is on pre-order to show up.

Thanks again for for letting me fondle your NEA Runningfool

any edmonton area nEA owers want to get together for a shoot sometime?>

mines coming in this week, thought maybe we could do some more formal range testing, om me if you are interested

That's my fault not NEA. It's on my desk, if Marse didn't send it Friday I'll over night it to you Monday. I took it out to check the staking and left it on my desk. Again my apologies.

Got mine, too. But somehow it shipped without a bolt carrier group . Working on solving that dilemma.

C'mon now...do tell. You were just using it as a paper weight now weren't you? :p

Maybe you could all get together and cobble-up enough parts to get at least (1) rifle to run? :stirthepot2: Seriously, that was meant to be a joke. :p

Absolutely not an issue, I'm not worried about it at all. In fact, I'll be ordering a 5.5" Kriss from you this week.

I'd be down for that. Where do you normally shoot?
Mine should be here Friday. Might not have sights if I can't figure out what I want in time though.

So how was the staking?

Figured it was going to be something like this, good to hear. I love how all the eat-their-own guys came down like a hammer on NEA with no pause to see what happened. If we keep this up we'll lose our first major civilian supplying Canadian black rifle maker like belligerent children. The sting won't be felt until nothing black is exportable out of the states. Some guys know everything though and there's no reasoning with them or changing their minds.

We have a bunch of armchair commandos, myself included, berating a gun they can only take to the range that's bargain priced, made in our very own country, and that has terrific warranty support. NEA isn't a huge company, they're a Canadian startup. Give em a few years and support them in the meantime. If I was NEA I'd be complaining about the Canadian customer base too.

WTF are you? A NEA apologist? I could care less if they're Canadian or not. They either live up to the expectations of quality that their clientel demands of them or they go out of business. Just like any other company. Simple as that.

NEA is its own worst enemy at this point in time. If they get their #### together, maybe, just maybe, they'll be on the same level as Norinco. ;)

Ardent,

I don't think anyone was really after them for the missing bolt. It was pretty clear this was an oversight and can happen. That being said you have to expect some razzing. That part is all in good fun.

I gathered so much.

Certainly, some guys were going further than razzing however. ;) NEA's already slashing products like mad it seems. I hope it's not a snapshot of the future. A domestic firearms industry is likely one of the best things we can have for our cause, when prohibiting costs jobs it gets a lot stickier. Still thrilled they're around, hope they hang in there and thrive.

I'd pay more for a NEA if that would guarantee they'll get their sh!t together. There. Does that make you happy now?

At what time would you consider there sh!t to be together? When the CGN rants end? Well they won't > they don't for any product line. They always peak when a new product enters the market even though half the ney-sayers don't own the product :) Its the way of the internet culture.

In this case, too many experts, not enough shooters :p

When you can open the box, take out the firearm, and fire it without having a malfunction or issues related to improper assembly or quality control.

When NEA doesn't have to go into damage control when obvious and amateurish blunders plague their product and company.

That's when I'd consider NEA having its "sh!t together".

We wouldn't have the daily threads from new owners complaining about a myriad of different issues if NEA was competent in bringing their product to market.

As to your second point, when was the last time you heard about someone "ranting" about the general quality of Noveske? LMT? KAC? How about Stag? Colt? Hmm...didn't think so.

I've said this on many occasions. Most everyone wants NEA to succeed. Why wouldn't you want a Canadian firearms manufacturer to flourish? Having said that, we shouldn't be giving NEA a "free pass" just because they are Canadian. They should be held to the same level as any other firearms manufacturer. Allowing them to hide under the flag isn't doing them a bit of good in the long run. They've been to that well on a few occasions now and the well is all but dry at this point.

Yep.

There's milspec, and then there's gunnutz spec. One is stringent, the other contains nuts.

Which one is NEA?
