NEA/BCL 102 FAQ Thread

I must say I am surprised no local boys have taken photos or video of the display rifle yet. It would keep me pacified for a little longer while I wait for mine to be shipped :p

Great thread. Not sure why you had to do this though. The CDN distributor is the one raking in the cash over these, at the vary least they could fill people in a bit more, maybe disassemble one and show better quality pics !

I wonder if they even got more then one (yes I see boxes in the pic, but...) , seems pretty odd nobody has one physically in there hands yet lol.

The entire presentation and secrecy of this gun has been a complete gong show.

The FAQ posted is basically the description from my website. There is no secrecy...it's right in the items description.

so what parts inter change ?
trigger groups ? barrels ? uppers ?

will it come with a forward assist ? is a forward assist really needed ?

how dirty does the action get from the gas system ?

is a guy stuck using upper parts from nea or does a upper casting exist from else where that can be built to fit and function with the lower ?

no it does not, and no it is not needed at all.

how dirty does the action get from the gas system ?

Dirty enough that it must be maintained every few hundred rounds (preferably less) for reliable operation.

the NEA receiver design is proprietary

See bold.

Here is a dumb question.

Does an aftermarket AR15 tack latch fit the NEA102 charging handle or is it undersized?

If I had a dollar for every time I read "is there a 223/556 version coming?" I would have enough to buy 2 of these.

That muzzle brake is hideous though, I'm not one to modify a firearm too much but that's gonna go day one.
