NEA/BCL 102 FAQ Thread

According to you, AR10's are non restricted? Really? Show me a NR AR10 i can buy....i'll be waiting...

There are hundreds of Artillerie Inrichtingen manufactured AR10s in Canada, and none of them are restricted.

Of course, that doesn't mean you can buy them, as virtually all are prohibited due to the full auto receiver. But the design itself is not restricted.

I understand that, what i dont understand, is certain members here are trying VERY hard to link the NEA102 to the AR15...are these people trying to get RCMP's opinion of NR overturned? To what end are they continually coming out with "well, duuh, i just dont see a difference between the 102 and an AR15...deerp"

Look at most SUV's today. At first glance a lot look the same. But when they take a better look they see the difference.
If they don't see the difference it's either because of a hate on, tunnel vision or the opinion is coming from a FUDD

Simple solution already imlemented south of the border. If you want to inherit grampa's Dutch AR10 then make a replacement lower receiver for it.

The lab says otherwise on the frt entry for the ar10klm and ar102 entries.

So when is the BCL 102 going to be released in 223? ;)

I've never had an AR type rifle and I read that this would have a mil spec buffer tube that's "slightly longer". I'm not sure what that translates to in terms of furniture as I've never had anything I could do that type of modifications to. . If I ordered a mil spec stock from hogue will it still go on?

It "should" fit. Might not collapse all the way to receiver because it is longer
