Could you apply a nice radius on the lower part of that cantilevered rail?
I tend to like parts that do not look like saber blades at the finished stage and, besides, it will add to the part looks.
Well done, by the way! Do you project black anodization or baked-enamel?
PP.
Two questions;
1, Have you scoped yourself with that setup yet?
2, Will this fit cantilevered rearwards off of a front rail?
Great idea but personaly...
- Could this be a little closer to the rifle?
- Also what rail system are you using?
- How many rail possitions are there?
Would like to see the bottom of the rail to be the same level as the top of the rear cover.

He means have you wacked yourself in the head with the scope while shooting it. It looks like it might be a problem with long eye relief scopes.
A bit longer of a rail and you could probably do away with the cantilevered rings.
Any problem extending the rail further to just shy of the stripper clip guide?
Now that sounds Promising! That is also being done. to the end of the dust cover
1 - ????
2 - yes

It will slip right over, i will post pics later todayHehe, scope just looks way back is all. Guess it's not like there's much recoil to worry about though.
Out of curiosity, to mount off of one of your gen3 uppers, would you have to pull off the default rear iron sight or would it slip over? Additionally, any chance of pics?
Very cool!
I am thinking the "long" version of this rail paired with the "gasblock-rail" will be the ultimate setup. Finally.
So, ETA on when these parts can be ordered?
Whats being shipped to dealers in three weeks time?
