I have one NEA AR15, bought last summer. I have thousands of rounds through it and no problem with it at all. I'll be getting a 102 with no reservations.

So... It didn't put you off them for good..?

Cool story

Someone asked. That was my personal experience.
I've heard they got better. I wouldn't bother with anything else they currently are putting out.
But this offering is different IF it actually goes down NR. That also being said I'm not jumping in both feet either. I'll let others take the first jump and if I don't hear the same stories about parts snapping like twigs, feeding, extraction issues that old NEA stuff was plagued with etc then I'll most likely be in for one.
Is that a cool story too?!....

I had a gen 2 10" with the CCS stock and didn't have any issues. Ran well and was a load of fun. Only thing I didn't like was the grey ish anodizing. Sold it after a while and as far as I know, the next owner haven't had issues with it yet after a year.

I'd be up for a 308nea if they kept as least the same or better quality as their gen 2 AR15s.

Looks like the NEA25 has been shipped to the states " im just speculating " ... I emailed Canada ammo today, They said its currently with the RCMP for classification. Obviously that wouldnt matter in the U.S if its a semi. Here's a link to a recent youtube video that was been released from one that looks like it has been shipped to a U.S customer. The gun look s ###y as ...

Srry it might be france ? No idea ... shipped somewhere anyway

Anyone confirm from that video if it a standard style AR10 barrel nut assy? Thats going to be the make or break for on this beast.

Why would that make or break ? Im green to AR style rifles. Would the standard AR style be good ? Seems like it would for part swaps ?

The ARTS rifle has a couple features that are not for me, but i am really glad ARTS and NEA are doing these projects. Huge step forward, i really do like they are canadian made.

No shortage of lubrication there!

I'm still waiting for a list of part similarity to the SR-25 before I make a decision.

Same sr25 that the US armi is dropping due to weight, lenght and poor service life?

Haha just had to ;)

I'm hoping to swap the barrel out for a stock AR10A2 set up.
Then A2 stock, grip, handguards and a bolt on A2 upper carry handle. You see where I'm going lol

Ya, and it seems like that would be a big deal if all that stuff was compatible. Could you see if it was by the second video posted ? I really want this rifle to work out. I would likely buy two
