Wow, looks like big news ( or at least a big tease) posted on the NEA Facebook page today. They have the frt for the NEA AR102 and are expecting the official classification in January and expecting it to be NR.

Someone just got a little more excited and a little more concerned about how much to spend on boxing day sales...... Life is complicated....lol

Yeah, I think a lot of us will be eyeing for this one. Even though NEA has a bad rep on CGN, I'm willing to take a gamble.
Also, might be a good time to stock up on 10 round XCR-M pistol magazines

Granted NEA have had their bad moments with the earlier rifles...though I had several, and with no issues, that said the new rifles really are great value for the money and for how cheap they are,and how good the customer service is,I'm willing to work through any little hiccups this one would have.

Wow, now if they can have a scaled down version of the AR102 that shoots 223.. that would be awesome and I'll buy 2. *Wink*

Look how the NEA version uses a standard AR type charging handle. I never really liked the ATRS side charging handle.

From what I understand there was a fair bit of trouble with some of the gen 1 NEA 15's. By the sounds of it, it has been resolved but many seem to still be concerned with the QA/QC of their products. My experiance (be it limited) has been that they are just as solid as any other rifle i own, maybe more so
