At 1500$ I'd get one 100% guarantee. I've been saving for a .308 black rifle to plink and hunt and do everything. An AR based platform would rule. But anything NR worth getting is 3500$

It's said coming soon for a long while now. I'm still interested in seeing where this goes, and will end up with one if it's NR but at the same time I'm not holding my breath.

If it does go NR and with a $1500 price tag, I'm wholeheartedly in. If it goes restricted, I'd still be in, but with much less enthusiasm. I really like the ability to walk in the woods with my firearms and hunt with them.

Heard rumblings about another Canadian Made AR10, but full R status, seems like more people coming to the table with offerings these days. Interested to see what happens in the next few months.

The CFC lab has a tendency of making unfavorable rulings on guns that are
1) CHEAP
2) "cool looking"

All NEA has to do is say "Hey, the gun is gonna be Modern Hunter expensive." CFC is like, "Oh cool, it'll be too expensive for people to buy so it won't be too proliferated when we ban and confiscate.... Non Restricted."

NEA can then drop the price and sell like hot cakes.

Its gonna be a long road for this one. The gun already has an frt and is considered the usual ar10/ ar15 variant therfor restricted. NEA is trying to convince the powers that be, that an ar10 is not a varient of the ar15 as it pre dates it. Some how i dont think the current gov will give in on this one.

I do a google search for NEA 25 about every couple of weeks to see if there is any news.

lol!

I'm definitely interested to see how this turns out, and though NEA's rep has been taking a $hit kicking the last few years, I am actually rooting for them this time.

Anyone else notice the latest teaser pic on the NEA Facebook page today. Pic of a lower with the serial number NEA1020001. Could this be good news, or just another glimmer of hope to keep us dreaming.

I seen that too! Seeing as Goodale and the Libtards lifted the time limit the RCMP has to classify new firearms it may be years before they decide what to do with the "NEA-25". I bet NEA going to start selling some "NEA-10's" as restricted rifles, they're probably itching move some product. I would buy a restricted NEA-10 in .308 if it was under $1500. Still keeping my fingers crossed on a NR version, will likely have to wait till after the next election though!
