'Need' a classy 30/06

1600's are nice and light and very well made.
PH are decent too.
Push feed Win M70 are also nice enough.
All 3 are around the $500 mark.

I've been casually search for an /06 for a while now that just screams classic. What I know I want is CRF action, iron sights great walnut stock, 20"-22" barrel.

What I am considering is:
Brno ZKK 600
Brno ZG47
Husky 1600
Parker & Hale
Ruger RS

Wondering if you gentlemen you care to add your opinions and suggestions on what I have listed and if I have missed any great options.

Pics of your rifles wouldn't hurt either!

If you can find one, take a look at the Antonio Zoli offering. It's a licensed copy of the Husky 1600.

The Antonio Zoli has much better wood and the action is much smoother, butter smooth.

I know you said bolt action but to me one of the classier stock rifle is a Ruger no1 S or RSI(I have both hahaha) and the bolt action RSI are pretty nice too!! It out of your choices I would go with the Brno!

As it was mentioned before, a nice Ruger RSI is a really special piece….or a classy, rare, Winchester model 70.
In my opinion a caliber such as the classic American 30-06 calls for a classic American rifle.

I have a well used FN mauser supreme 300 action with a custom barrel in 30-06. I think if you find an older action in large ring mauser, you can build the gun you want. I also have a kimber classic select that is very well made. If you can find one of those in 30-06 or an M70 in a supergrade then you won't be disappointed.

Not seeing any love for a ZG47 but that’s my choice. Find a carbine and you’ll be done looking. Rated by some as the best Mauser type action ever made.

Well for a classy 3006 there is two models I think are the classiest:

Winchester M70 - I would avoid the featherweight unless it fits you well as it kicked my butt lol, sold it but the look was awesome, no sights though.
Ruger M77 - bought it here on CGN its like new really awesome looking as well, has the sights and fits me well, still have it will not sell it :)
