While irrelevent to the OP's question, the world is long overdue for an ultra-high BC 6mm bullet. the "90 grain 223 berger" cartridge of the 6mm world. The problem with the 243 is that bullets have not lived up to the cartridge's potential, and what you have left is an overbore inefficent catridge that lacks the inherent accuracy of the 6BR, Dasher, XC and even the 6-22-250. At least the 6mm Remington is so rediculously overbore, that it can;t help but make you smile, but imagine that mated to a 130 grain 6mm VLD with a G1BC as good as the 7mm 180!
I know very well that this flames 243 lovers and the cartridge has done great long distance things, but it ain't my cup of tea...
