Hi folks, here's some translation. forgive me for slow progress...

Right page, column on far right is out of flame. I'll guess the missed part.

Right page, some sentence you see in picture.

[note:] "Meiji-tenno" is a former emperor of japan, on the throne from 1867-1912. he issued the rescript for military personnel on 1882. and this was the basis for imperial Japanese soldiers until the WW2 ends.

"Shortly after he reached the shore of Shang-hai, he won a scar in a battle."

Let's start again from the very beginning...

==This is a pamphlet dropped at pacific war zones by allies during WW2.
Issued by OWI(Office of War Information) and FELO(Far Eastern Liaison Office located @Australia).==

I googled by the word I see on the cover. from some pages of Japanese university"Ryukoku-univ.", I figured out this booklet was issued by OWI, FELO.


Cover:

It tells the story about one Unlucky imperial Japanese soldier named "Un-ga Nai-zou". this is the title.

In the latter pages, his name is described as "Nai-zou".

Guessing from the Chinese character used for his name, his name means "Unlucky boy".
"Un" means "luck"
"ga" is kind of "is". it is particles of grammer.
"Nai" means "no" or "without",
"Zou" means a typical old japanese name for boys.

on left column of the first picture,
it says "Unfortunately... he has no personal connection with the secret military agency which is totally corrupted..."

I think this line satires the situation that the person who has no connection with secret military agency goes to fierce battle fields.

Nai-zou on right, his mother? on left. and the word written on the bag on floor is "Houkou-Bukuro". it means the bag to carry personal belongings of someone on duty. or used in terms of "care package".

[kuney's note:] the object on right is called "Ihai" in japanese. it's a spirit tablet of Nai-zou.... the box is a cinerary urn of Nai-zou. usually we Japanese carry these all the time while funeral is proceeding.... Nai-zou is KIA.
