Buy a muzzleloader. Most areas in southern ontario allow both or buy a savage 220. Kinda late planning since you needmy new deer spot is pretty good, problem I can only use shotgun there and the only one I have is a cil single shot 20ga, there is a possibility of 200yds shots
what do you shotgun experts suggest
hornady superformance sst slugs drop 8 inches at 200yds, according to hornady
don't know a thing about muzzleloaders and there is only 3 weeks left for deer, Mossberg 500 on sale at cabelas with 3 barrels for $450, but not drilled and tapped for scope

Good luck hitting a deer with shotgun at 200 yards with no practice.
One of the barrels is likely a cantilever. It doesnt need to be drilled and tapped, just buy rings.
Find an H&R ultra slug hunter in 20 gauge and spend your savings on practice ammo. Best bang for the buck, if you can find one.
