Hey there, I know it's been asked before and I searched, but I didn't find people discussing how to keep this project cheap if you don't have tools or experience for DIY.
I'm really liking the idea of having a just over 26" 10/22 with a fixed stock and I want to do it as cheap as possible. I'm good with whatever barrel so long as it doesn't add a LOT of weight. Only accessories I'd add are scope, sling and maybe a light at the front. I would be using the rifle in the bush when useful and legal, at the range for fun, and for hunting. I prefer a wood stock but synthetic is fine if it's cheaper.
