I agree with the esoteric conversation about Winchesters and relative value. The fellow who started Sherwood Hockey Sticks collected Winchester lever actions and 40 years ago had the money to get started. He gave himself a modest goal - one of each model, cartridge, barrel length and configuration, etc. Apparently he had some of the strangest variations you can imagine, but they had fantastic valuations simply because of their rarity or desirability. There is no knowing what a true collector will want or not want, without a detailed inspection or reporting. But, is someone only sees it as 'an old thutty-thutty' to traipse through the deer woods with, there are more than enough other Model 94s out there for him.
