Its a 1943 German K98K, built at byf, or Mauser-werke, Oberndorf. It was the 2nd most produced code and year of the Nazi K98K. they made over a million that year.
Youres has been rebuilt for/by Israel. They rebarreled it, scrubbed it, and renumbered it.
It looks like it has the dropped bayo lug of a Spanish M43 mauser, Ive not seen that before on an Israeli rifle.
I suspect its not the original stock. Israeli mausers usually had a 762 branded into the wood as well. It looks like an stock from another mauser. Maybe some other mauser variant or refurb as that is not original german serial numbering. But it is a german stock, seen by the Eagle over the H. No idea on the dropped lug.
