Need to mount a light..... Hockey tape or???

I need to mount a light on my new 870 Police Mag. It has the 18" barrel and the +2 extension.

I hate the giant 4" off the side flashlights and pictiny monsters. I need suggestions to keep a light tight to the side and on the same AXIS as the muzzle.

Suggestions? Ive posted a couple of pics to give a idea of what im talking about.

Put it right in the muzzle. That way you don't have funny shadows.

And you only really need it for one shot....

In seriousness mounts like that are cheap and easy to install.

Or tape is good too... especially if you want to do it free.

I have done a few railed for-ends with an inforce WML.

I also has and sold a tube mount like the one you had pictured.

My current shotgun has no light. It is on my CX4

That's irrelevant really.

Nothing wrong with duct tape or electrical tape. It works better than trying to hold the flashlight and handle your firearm.

The only issue with any barrel mount is that when the pump is back, you've got no capability to turn the light on - which might be a very handy thing to do.
