I bought it two deer and one moose season ago and have yet to take it to the woods due to chamber/transfer bar issues.
chamber is damaged.
both my .223 AI's are MOA at 300m...
MOA at 300 yards is just over 3". Is that what the rifle is shooting?
I just picked one up in 243 super light.
Rare in Canada it seems I looked for 3 years b4 one popped up on the EE.
Going to try 100gr Hornady FB when spring gets here.RB
The Handi .243's are notorious for having trouble with 100's (lots of speculation as to why)... the heaviest that I have been happy with is the 90 NBT, the 75 & 87 V-Max are very good (varmints) and the 58 V-Max molys are "lights-out! I hunt deer sized game with the 85 Interbond... very, very accurate.
Question for all the NEF fans. Is there a reason the rear stock is always so proud of the action? I thought it was just a few rough ones I have seen, but since then have noticed it on all the NEF's including the custom stocked versions. Could a guy not reshape the rear stock to fit flush with the back of the action? Or is it designed that way for a reason?
